Kids Grow Fast
Have you ever really thought about how many different sizes of kids clothing we go through from Baby to Teenager? I did and I quit after the first year, I mean really, there’s Premie, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months and it just keeps going. A child will grow 3 more inches by the end of their third year, preschoolers will grow 3 inches each year and finally, from ages 5 to puberty a child will (on average) grow 2 additional inches per year. There are a lot of “constant’s” as a mom but a big one is we’re constantly buying clothes! 😉
Buying kids clothes has its Pros and Cons.
- Pro – It’s fun! I love shopping in general (unless it’s groceries!).
- Pro – It’s easy! Buying kids clothes has become so easy in our current, instant gratification day and age with the help of sites like Amazon who offers free 2-day shipping for Prime Members and Target who, like Amazon offer free (standard) shipping if you have their REDcard.
- Con – Cost! Actually, this is the only con I can think of. lol Buying kids clothes gets really expensive but what about the mom’s who have multiple children? Hand-me-downs? Sure that will work if our kids are of the same gender. I have a 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son though, so that’s not going to work for me.
So what if you can get them for free?
Yes, kids clothing for free!
A friend of mine on Facebook introduced me to this survey site -I know what you’re thinking. Oh great, another survey site.. but it’s not, trust me- called YouGov. It is not your regular pain in the ass survey site where you have to go here and go there and do this and that only to get redirected and stop working. I will only ever recommend sites and services that I use 100% myself, have used and trust. YouGov is a international market research company that asks it’s members (me and you) to take part in quick and painless – I promise 😉 – surveys.
YouGov works by asking you to do a quick 5-10 minute survey about Politics, what brands you love, what television shows you like.. etc.. Pretty basic, easy-peasy stuff and in return, they’ll give you points. It’s usually 500 points per survey but every so often they’ll have a longer survey where you can earn up to 10,000 points! Once you’ve accumulated so many, you’ll turn them in for Gift Cards. That, my friends is how I get my kids clothing for free. You can do it too!
I’ll walk you through it in 3 easy steps!
- Go to YouGov.
- Check your email and start earning points!
Lots of Luv!
