Enjoy your Turkey Day leftovers with this tasty Thanksgiving Leftovers Casserole.
Thanksgiving is just under 2 months away and it has me dreaming.
Turkey and stuffing, gravy, veggies and pies… but what do you do the day after? You know you’re gonna cook like an Army’s coming but there are bound to be leftovers. Am I right?
My grandma dubbed this dish Turkey Supreme and it was always something I looked forward to eating after the holiday. Man, that sweet woman could cook! I wish my husband could have experienced one of her Sunday dinners. They were truly incredible.
Speaking of the hubs, he was thrilled to get this early this year. He took the leftovers… of the thanksgiving leftovers recipe to work with him today and he claimed everyone in the office was jelly. But being the kind food-pusher he is, (lol) he shared.
Alright enough babble, I know you’re ready for the recipe!
The Easy Thanksgiving Leftovers Recipe
Preheat your oven to 375°.
Layer your mashed potatoes on the bottom of a casserole dish.
If you haven’t shredded your turkey, you’ll want to do that then mix it with your gravy and vegetable. As you can see, we have sweet corn and I love it! We use Green Giant Extra Sweet Niblets.
Top it with your stuffing and bake covered for 35 minutes then covered for an additional 10 minutes or until heated through.
Kitchen Tools Used..
The casserole dish shown was an awesome find from Home Goods and it’s about 12×9 inches. Oh my gosh, I love them.. Don’t get me started. 😉
You would be just fine using a standard 13×9 inch baking dish too, or smaller depending on how much leftovers you have. I also found a casserole dish similar to mine on Amazon if you prefer that!
The Spoon Spatula is also great for this dish!
