In our hometown we have pizza joint after pizza joint but in there is a little gem we love and they have a House Special that my husband adores. He decided to recreate it and Jalapeno Seafood Fettuccine was born.
If you aren’t a fan of spicy food, don’t worry. My 6-year-old daughter loves the dish and she won’t touch spicy with a 5 foot pole.
If you are a fan of spicy, just double up on the Jalapeno! You could even add some Hot Sauce or Sriracha if you’re feeling adventurous.
What you’ll need..
- 1 LB Ground Beef
- Seafood Mix (easily found in the frozen seafood section at your grocery store)
- 1 pkg Crab Classic
- 1 jar Vodka Sauce
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1 Onion
- 2 jalapeno’s
- Fresh Basil & Oregano
- Minced Garlic
- Salt & Pepper
You’ll want to start by cooking your seafood mix. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan, add minced garlic, seafood mix and fresh herbs. Cook about 8-10 minutes and set aside.
In the same pan, saute your veggies and once softened add your grown beef and season with Salt & Pepper. Cook until no longer pink.
In a deep frying pan add your Vodka Sauce and Crab. When ground beef mixture is cooked through add it to your vodka sauce along with your cooked seafood mixture.
Simmer on low while noodles are cooking.
While that’s simmering cook your Fettuccine. When that’s finished, I’d recommend doctoring your noodles with some Parmesan, salt and pepper.
Then top with your Jalapeno Seafood Fettuccine and enjoy!
Lots of Luv,
