My husband is kind of like the “grill master” in my family but when he asked if I wanted grilled pork chops, I was hesitant. It seemed like every pork chop I’ve ever had was super tough and just.. dry. He swore they wouldn’t be and asked me to come up with an awesome sauce to go with them. So came the creation of the Grilled Honey Garlic & Soy Pork Chop.
The key to getting a tender, juicy grilled pork chop is to cook them low and slow but what’s better is to match it with an amazing sauce. We are a honey garlic and soy loving family so why not turn it into a sauce? If you want the perfect veggie to go with it check out my green beans recipe. When these two are paired together with a side dish of wild rice my kids will clean their plates and ask for more.
Preparation is Super Easy
You’ll need 4 boneless pork chops seasoned with salt and pepper. Next, gather up some ketchup, honey, soy and minced garlic. Mix it up and that’s it! Fire up the grill and coat several times while cooking these babies low and slow. Don’t have a grill? T-fal makes a pretty cool Indoor Grill with removable dishwasher safe plates.
I plan to try these in the crock pot soon and when I do, I’ll make sure to update. 😉
