My mom has been telling me about her Baked Parmesan Asparagus for months now, and I just haven’t gotten around to making it.
I’m happy to say that last night, I finally did, but with a slight twist. Please welcome.
Garlic Parmesan Baked Asparagus
Believe it or not, I had never made or eaten asparagus until last night and am all of a sudden wondering, Why the heck not?
They were even a hit with the kids which is a major score in my eyes. Anytime I can get something green into their little bodies; it’s a win. Another veggie they like are these green beans. Can you tell we like garlic? 😉
These are the tools I used while cooking these bad boys.
You’ll also need:
- 1 lb Asparagus
- 1/4 cup Parmesan
- Two tsp Garlic, Minced
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- A Splash of Salt & Pepper
First, we need to heat our oven to 425 degrees.
We then want to cut the woody ends off of our asparagus and place them into our Glass Baking Dish.
Next, we’ll drizzle the Olive Oil (feel free to use coconut oil too!) over the Asparagus and sprinkle with Salt, Pepper, Parmesan, and Garlic. Stir until evenly coated.
Bake 8 minutes, remove and enjoy!
