How about an Easy Homemade Cereal Bar Recipe to make breakfast a breeze?
We are officially back to school here in PA and the quick but healthy breakfast is a must when we’re sending the kiddos off to learn.
I’ve always been a fan of the cereal bar but nothing compares when you’re making your own.
This weekend I combined the incredible flavors you get from Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal with ripe bananas and yummy peanut butter to create an easy cereal bar recipe the kids will love!
What you’ll need..
- 1 1/2 cup Honey Roasted-Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal – Download your coupon here!
- 1/2 cup Semi Sweetened Organic Oats
- 2 small Ripe Bananas
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Truvia Natural Sweetener
- 1 tbsp Milk Chocolate Morsels (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°. Next, mix everything except the Milk Chocolate Morsels into a bowl. Fold mixed contents into a greased 8×8 baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
While our cereal bar ingredients are baking, melt the Milk Chocolate Morsels for about 15 seconds in the microwave.
When you remove the homemade cereal bar from the oven, drizzle with the chocolate.
Allow your breakfast bites to cool and enjoy!
