Not a lot of time for dinner tonight? Neither do I, but that’s okay! It’s on night’s like these that I turn to this 15 Minute Cheddar Wurst & Veggie Meal.
You see everyone in my family is a big Star Wars fan and it just so happens that the Star Wars The Force Awakens movie was released today. So after working late, getting one child from daycare and the other from her after school program we need (rolling my eyes) to move fast if we were going to watch it before bed, after all it is a school night. So this means homework, dinner and bathes would need to be done by 6 pm. That’s a tall order!
The 15 minute cheddar wurst & veggie meal is what I turned to..
The only thing you’ll need is a package of Hillshire Farm Cheddar Wurst, and onion and a pepper.
Preheat a skillet on Medium High, you don’t need any butter or oil. The Cheddar Wurst create enough for the veggies on their own and add flavor to them all at once. There won’t be any sticking in this pan. Slice all of your ingredients and add to the pan when heated and stir immediately until grease from the cheddar wurst is coating the pan. Now, just cook until the veggies are soft and the cheddar wurst is browned. I generally serve this with a buttered noodle, pierogie or fried potatoes. Take your pick, they’re all delicious with this meal.
