Winter can be magical for a child. Here are 11 fun activities to harness that magic.
We were recently hit with a Noreaster, and while that isn’t always a fun time for adults with a commute, it is excellent for kids!
My birthday is in March, and I remember as a child in grade school in the North East it was prime time for a massive snow storm. I’m talking 3+ feet of snow! It was always a wonderful birthday to wake up to a snow day.
We would spend the day building giant tunnel systems in the yard along with forts and snowmen. We would have snowball fights with all of the other kids in the neighborhood, and we would wear ourselves right out.
I cherish those memories and strive to make my kids childhood just as memorable.
That’s why today, my husband stayed home from work, we packed the car full of snacks, drinks and snow gear and immediately after we picked our eldest up from school, found a really steep hill to sled ride down!
I used the snow to keep our drinks cold.
And we had the best day!
I’ve compiled a list of really great, memory making kids activities that you can use as ideas to create those memories with your children too.
